What is Death2Data?

A $1/month membership for privacy tools. Search without tracking, daily notebook prompts, QR codes, and more. No ads. No data selling.

Why $1?

$1 covers our costs and aligns incentives. If you're paying, you're the customer. If it's free, you're the product. We chose customer.

Is there a free trial?

No. It's $1. Less than a coffee. Just try it.

Billing

How do I cancel?

Go to Account → click "Open Billing Portal" → enter your email → click "Cancel subscription". Done in 30 seconds.

Do you offer refunds?

No refunds, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until your current period ends. It's $1 - we'd spend more processing the refund than the refund itself.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Processed securely by Stripe. We never see your card number.

Is it recurring?

Yes, $1 charges every 28 days until you cancel. You can cancel from the billing portal anytime.

Privacy

Do you track me?

No. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking. We don't know what pages you visit. We don't care.

Do you sell my data?

No. That would defeat the entire point. Our business model is $1/month, not selling your data.

What data do you have on me?

Just your email (for billing) and what you've paid. That's it. Your notebook entries are stored in your browser, not our servers.

Where is my data stored?

Most tools use your browser's local storage. We don't have a database of your activity. When you use the privacy search, queries go directly to search engines - we don't log them.

Notebook

How does the 28-day notebook work?

Pick a topic. Get one question per day for 28 days. Answer in your browser. At the end, download your entries or request a physical printed notebook.

Where are my notebook entries stored?

In your browser (localStorage). We don't have them. If you clear your browser data, they're gone. Download regularly if you want backups.

How do I get the physical notebook?

Physical notebooks are printed on-site at sanctioned D2D events only (CRINGE, SOUL, DEAL, ULTRA, NIL). Each event creates custom collectible covers. Attend an event and bring your completed 28-day notebook to get it printed for free.

Technical

What browsers are supported?

Any modern browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. No IE support (it's 2025).

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. Everything works in mobile browsers. An app might come later if there's demand.

Can I self-host?

Some tools will be open source. Check our GitHub when we release them.
